Trade and Tourism Minister Zeinebou Mint Ahmednah left Nouakchott on Saturday at dawn to Doha, Qatar’s capital, to take part in the ninth edition of the World Investment Forum.
Organized in collaboration with the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), the event is held from 25 to 27 October 2026 under the theme “Investing in the future”.
The Global Investment Forum is a high-level international platform dedicated to investment and sustainable development issues. It aims at strengthening international partnerships and examining policies and opportunities that can attract productive investment and support economic development.
The Minister is accompanied by Khadijetou Mint Haki, Director of Studies, Programming and Cooperation within the Ministry.
